Who we are

openstage is operated by Tyler Roy Music, the data controller responsible for the personal information described here.

What we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, login credentials, account type) — to create and run your account (contract).
• Profile and gig information (act or venue name, city, bio, genres, booked dates, pay, coverage, day-of contacts) — to provide the service (contract).
• Messages between members — to deliver them (contract).
• Technical data (IP address, device and usage information) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the service (legitimate interests).

Pay amounts, notes and contact details on gigs are private to you and are never shown publicly.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who host and run openstage for us;
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sales, subscription management, payments, tax and invoicing;
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants;
• Authorities where required by law.

We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed for legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, message us through the app.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information.

Cookies

We only use essential storage needed to keep you signed in and run checkout. We don't use advertising cookies.
